FAYETTEVILLE — Three Arkansas track and field records fell Friday at the Arkansas Qualifier, as did one Jamaican national record.
Both the Arkansas men’s and women’s teams set program records in the distance medley relay. Both entered the meet at Randal Tyson Track Center aiming to put up fast times in the event in their final meet before SEC Indoor Championships next weekend, and both shattered the previous school records.
The men’s team of Owan Logorodi, Jordan Pierre, Tyrice Taylor and Brian Masai finished in 9 minutes, 17.3 seconds, besting last year’s program record by nearly 4 seconds.
