CLEMSON—No. 23 Clemson Tigers run-ruled Baylor 8-0 in five innings on Saturday at McWhorter Stadium, marking the first-ever meeting between the two teams.
This was Clemson’s (9-5) third run-rule win of this weekend. The Tigers remain undefeated in tournament play, while Baylor added their first loss of the Clemson Classic.
Clemson’s offense consistently applied pressure, recording hits in multiple innings and creating scoring opportunities throughout the game. Seven different Tigers put the ball in play today and had 11 combined hits.
Marian Collins led the offense, going 3-3 with a home run and two RBIs. Macey Cintron and Julia Knowler also collected two hits.
