Arkansas just won. LSU just lost. But the win column doesn’t tell the whole story of why the Tigers’ fan base is a whole lot more satisfied right now.
LSU’s 24-10 loss last week to Alabama was a whole lot more competitive than many Tigers fans would have expected a month ago, and it might be an indication that Ed Orgeron is starting to get things moving in the right direction. Not so for the Razorbacks, who needed Cole Kelley’s touchdown run with 1:55 left to survive 39-38 against Coastal Carolina — a team that came in 1-7 and was a four-TD underdog.
